Pricing

Published prices. Disclosed commission. Zero kickbacks.

Most sourcing agents quote “it depends” because the real fee is hidden in the unit price. We do the opposite: everything below is public, and our income comes from you — never from a factory rebate.

Service fees

What each service costs

Fixed scopes, fixed prices. Sample and freight costs are always pass-through at cost — we never mark up hardware.

Selection Sprint

One project, one shortlist

$from $500
per project
  • Requirements engineering into a factory-grade spec sheet
  • 3–5 candidates compared on specs, lead time and price
  • Written recommendation with trade-offs and failure modes
  • Fixed scope, fixed price — agreed before we start

Sample Verification

Coordinated testing & data audit, per model

$from $200
handling, per model
  • Test plan specified & audited: resolution, noise, colour, frame rate, triggers
  • Protocol & SDK compatibility verification
  • Written report, raw images, video, comparison table
  • 5–7 business days typical turnaround

Managed order

Commission on orders we manage

$5–10%
of order value (EXW/FOB)
  • Price, MOQ, lead-time and payment-terms negotiation
  • Pre-shipment configuration & accessory verification
  • Export documentation and freight coordination
  • Commission disclosed in writing, invoiced after shipment

Commission tiers

The commission rate, in public

Aligned, not hidden

The commission is calculated on order value (EXW/FOB, excluding freight and duties), invoiced to you after shipment, and capped at the value of services delivered if an order fails through no fault of the factory.

Under $5,000 — 10%

Small and first orders carry the highest rate, because the coordination effort is the same.

$5,000 – $20,000 — 8%

The standard band for project-scale orders from integrators and equipment builders.

$20,000 – $50,000 — 6%

Programme pricing for buyers running a project pipeline rather than a single order.

Above $50,000 — 5%

Volume rate for established programmes, with quarterly review.

Fee policy

What we will never charge you for

The anti-"free agent" policy

An agent who charges you nothing is usually earning 10–15% from the factory by inflating your unit price. We would rather be paid by you and be wrong about nothing.

No markup on hardware

The factory price and our fee are separate lines on every quote. You can see both.

No factory kickbacks

We accept zero rebates from manufacturers. Our recommendation cannot be bought.

No fees on direct reorders

Once you own the factory relationship, reorders placed directly need no commission from us.

No charge for honesty

If a Sprint shows you do not need one, the call was free and the advice stays free.

FAQs

Pricing questions

Why charge a service fee at all if you earn commission?

The Sprint and the Sample Verification happen before any order exists — the work is real and the commission never arrives if the project stalls. Splitting the fees keeps both sides honest.

Is the Sprint fee credited against the commission?

Yes — on orders we manage within 90 days of the Sprint, the Sprint fee is credited against the commission. The Sample Verification handling fee stands alone, because the report is yours regardless.

How do I pay?

Service fees are payable by card or bank transfer before work starts; samples and orders are invoiced with clear pass-through lines. Payment terms for managed orders are agreed in the sourcing agreement.

What is NOT included in these prices?

Freight, duties, taxes and destination-country customs brokerage are excluded, as is any accredited-lab certification testing. We coordinate them at cost and tell you the estimate before committing.
