How it works
A process built for certainty, not catalogs.
Five steps from “what are we detecting?” to cameras on your bench — with evidence at every gate and no cash or goods ever parked in our name.
The process
Five steps, three evidence gates
Step 1: Scoping call
Free, 20 minutes. Object, defect or measurement, field of view, working distance, line speed, accuracy target, environment, budget and timeline. You leave with a recommended path — even if that path is "buy direct, here is the model".
Step 2: Selection Sprint
We convert your application into a factory-grade spec sheet and return 3–5 candidates compared on sensor, resolution, frame rate, interface, lead time and price — with a written recommendation and the risks of each option.
Step 3: Sample Verification
The shortlist gets tested against your acceptance criteria — by authorized labs and factory demo benches, on the test plan we specify. We audit the raw data: resolution, noise, colour, frame rate, trigger behaviour, protocol compatibility. You get the report, raw images and video.
Step 4: Managed order
We negotiate price and terms with the factory, lock the tested configuration, verify pre-shipment contents and coordinate export documents and freight. You remain importer of record; the factory ships to you.
Step 5: Delivery & support
Cameras arrive with documentation in order. We stay reachable for SDK, GenICam and triggering questions during commissioning, and invoice the disclosed commission after shipment.
Money & goods
How money and goods actually move
Zero inventory risk, by design
Nothing is prepaid to a factory without your approval, and nothing is warehoused in our name. Your working capital stays yours until the moment you choose to spend it.You prepay services and samples
Sprint and Sample Lab fees are paid before work starts; sample hardware and courier are invoiced at cost, approved by you first.
The factory is paid directly
On managed orders the factory is paid per the agreed terms — deposit and balance — against verified milestones. We never sit on your goods money.
Goods ship factory-to-you
Export documentation and freight are coordinated by us; you (or your broker) clear customs. No goods pass through our name, ever.
Commission after shipment
Our 5–10% commission is invoiced after the goods ship, on the disclosed order value. Nothing hidden, nothing early.
Timelines
How long each step takes
Predictable beats fast
Industrial camera programmes are measured in weeks, not days. Our job is to make every week count — and to tell you early when a factory cannot hit your date.Scoping call — 20 minutes
Same week, usually same day. Bring defect images if you have them.
Selection Sprint — 3–5 business days
From the call to a written shortlist with recommendation.
Sample Verification — 5–7 business days
Including sample sourcing, coordinated testing and data audit.
Managed order — 3–5 weeks
Factory-dependent, from PO to delivered; we flag lead-time risk before you commit.
FAQs
Process questions
What do you need from us to start?
The application: what you inspect or measure, the part, the defect, field of view, working distance, line speed, accuracy target and environment. Photos of the part and the defect are gold.
Can we skip the Sample Verification if we trust the datasheet?
You can — but verification exists because datasheets describe sensors, not systems. Most first-time buyers in a new category test; repeat buyers with a proven configuration usually skip it.
Who is the importer of record?
You are. We coordinate export documentation and recommend forwarders, but customs entry stays with you or your broker — which is also why nothing can get stuck in our name.
What happens if the factory misses the ship date?
We flag it before it happens, escalate in Chinese on your behalf, and per the agreement the commission on a failed managed order is waived — our fee is for delivery, not for trying.
Step 1 costs nothing.
Twenty minutes, no deck, no pitch — just your application and an honest answer on how we would approach it.
